Ibtissame Sidane (IS) took her master’s degree in Chemical Sciences at the University of Genova (UniGe) in 2023. During her internship period, IS developed experience on nanomaterials, particularly, gold nanoparticles, where she investigated their effect on the mechanical properties of lipidic membranes doped with cholesterol and fluorescent probe. She took her master’s degree at the UniGe in 2023 and currently, she is a PhD student in Chemical Sciences in the same university. Her research activity is focused on the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles and their functionalization with oleic acid for different applications. She is also involved in other projects e.g., studying the influence of magnetic nanoparticles on the physical properties of PDMS polymer using electrospinning technique.
