Martina Cozzani is a Ph.D. Student in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Genoa. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Parma in 2020. During her internship, she researched the potential applications of antimony selenide in the photovoltaic field and gained experience in synthesising and characterising inorganic materials. She subsequently completed her master's degree in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Genoa in 2023. During the internship period, she focused on developing star-shaped poly(ε-caprolattone) for use in biomedical devices. She conducted a rigorous study of the frontal polymerization technique used in hydrogel preparation and gained skills in polymeric material characterization and biomedical engineering. As a Ph.D. Student, she is currently working on synthesising and applying biopolymers. Her doctorate aims to obtain innovative bio-based vitrimeric systems.
