Nicolò Ghibaudo (NG) took the master’s degree in Material Science in 2021 from the University of Turin (UniTo). Currently, he is a PhD student in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Genoa. His research activity is focused on the remotion of emerging pollutants from water resources using heterogeneous photocatalysis. NG, carrying out his research activity in collaboration with the industry, particularly IREN S.p.A. company, which is one on the most important and dynamic multi-utility companies on the Italian scene, active in the sectors of electricity, gas, management of integrated water services and environmental services, will bring an important perspective on the research and technological transfer to the industrial scale.
