Riccardo Trevia (RT) is a Ph.D. student in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Genoa, where he obtained his M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences in 2025. His master thesis concerned the synthesis and characterization of lead halide perovskites functionalized with chiral ligands. His current research focuses on the development of a semiconductor-plasmonic junction catalyst to obtain the photoreduction of perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and other emerging pollutants.
